We are thankful to our scholars for their dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work since the start of this school year and to you for playing such an integral role in their successes. The support and generosity of the BTU community have been critical to provide our scholars with unique and effective educational opportunities that enhance their academic experience and complement the classroom learning they receive from BTU’s dedicated faculty and staff. We hope we can count on your generosity again and ask that you consider investing in our school by making a gift towards our fundraising campaign to help fund these partnerships.
Family Council Fundraising goal
We're aiming to raise $40,000 during the 2023-2024 school year.
The Boston Teachers Union Pilot School is scholars, faculty, and staff. It is respect, rigor, and responsibility. It is teacher-powered, an engaged community, and an extended family. The BTU School is you. You are essential to making sure that every single child at the BTU School experiences a powerful learning environment. Will you make a difference? Why does your gift matter? Our dedicated and inspiring staff and faculty cannot do it alone. In order to provide a full classroom experience and access and opportunities for all scholars we need the involvement, energy, and the expertise of community partners. And we rely on donations to fund those partnerships. Your gift will:
Fund part of our school’s social worker position through The Home for Little Wanderers partnership to provide support and crisis intervention, as well as supporting school-wide culture and climate.
Cover the cost of classroom supplies and equipment that our teachers and scholars need to learn, as well as provide the tools for other community partners like the 826 Boston Writer’s Room Program, Green Growers, Urban Improv, Boston Music Project, Village Music School and Apprentice Learning.
Fund field trips to enhance curriculum and offer exciting, hands-on learning experiences.
